Frigid Weather Continues Through Friday, Warmer Saturday

Frigid temperatures are forecast to continue through the week in Alcorn County and start inching up Saturday.

The high on Tuesday afternoon is 27 degrees with a low of around 13 degrees with scattered flurries possible Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

The high Wednesday will be around 35 degrees with a low of around 13 at night with wind chills as low as 3.

The high Thursday will only be around 26 degrees with a low of around 9 degrees at night.

On Friday, the high will be 32 degrees with a low of around 14 at night.

Temperatures are expected to start going up on Saturday with a high of 37 and a low of 24. The high on Sunday is forecast to be around 47 degrees.

There is a lot of sunshine in the forecast for the week.
