Locals Can Apply for White House Internship Program

U.S. Rep. Trent Kelly, R-Miss., has announced that the application process for the summer 2018 White House Internship Program is now open.

“This is a great opportunity for those interested in public service to learn from others who have made this important commitment to their fellow Americans,” a news release from Kelly’s office says.

Kelly’s office also provides internships for college students each semester and during the summer for those who have completed their sophomore year of college.

“Interns will work with our team to learn the legislative process, assist with daily tasks, perform administrative duties and help with constituent services,” the release said.
