There will be food, live music and motorcycles at American Legion Post 6 in Corinth on Saturday to support veterans.
The 11th annual Freedom Ride sponsored by the Post 6 Legion Riders will raise money for the nonprofit Project Package, which sends care packages to local troops serving abroad.
One of the bigger expenses is the shipping cost to send the packages, said Mike Hurst, director of the American Legion Riders.
Registration for the 100-mile ride will start after 9 a.m. Saturday, and food will go on sale at 11 a.m.
Kickstands for the ride will go up at 1 p.m. Those who take part in the ride can donate any amount they choose.
Barbecue plates will cost $8, and hotdog and hamburger plates will be $5.
The care packages sent to the troops include items such as snacks and hygiene supplies, said Hurst.
Vendors are also welcome to set up at the event for no charge.
