The Kossuth High School Band excelled at a state marching evaluation in Tupelo last week, achieving all superior ratings from every judge.
The evaluation was a qualifier for the state marching championships on Nov. 4 at Clinton High School where the Aggie band will compete with three other 3A bands. Kossuth has placed in the top five 3A bands for five of the last six years.
The band’s performance is called “Kossuth Escape Room,” and Director Brandon Harvell said it is an “extremely exciting show and promises to put Kossuth at or near the top this year.”
“I’m honored to be the director of such hardworking, motivated students who want to accomplish great things for our community,” Harvell said.
