A 26-year-old man was found guilty of capital murder on Tuesday in Alcorn County Circuit Court.

Micah Bostic was found guilty by a jury after a trial that spanned several days.

Circuit Court Judge Paul Funderburk sentenced Bostic to life in prison without parole.

Bostic was found guilty of capital murder for his involvement in the Feb. 1, 2016 death of Corinth store clerk Kris Ledlow at the MAPCO gas station on U.S. Highway 72 East in Corinth.

Another defendant, Brooklyn Traylor, was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder after he pleaded guilty in June.

Video surveillance showed two black males wearing hoodies enter the store at around 5:38 a.m., prosecutor David Daniels has said. Ledlow was shot numerous times, and a detective identified the shooter as Traylor, Daniels has said.
