A workshop behind a home on County Road 650 in the Theo area burned down Thursday.
The fire was fully involved when it was reported at about 12:30 p.m.
No one was at home when the fire started, and no one was hurt in the blaze, said Union Center/Theo Fire Chief H.C. Bates.
The cause of the fire was unknown but could have been an electrical shortage, Bates said.
The shop was located behind a house at 132 County Road 650, and Bates said the fire was reported by a passerby.
The Union Center/Theo Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by volunteer firefighters from Southwest Alcorn and Kossuth.
“We thank them,” Bates said.
