The Biggersville Lions football team crushed Rossville (Tenn.) Christian Academy 59-6 Friday night.
It was Biggersville’s homecoming game, and it brought the Lions to 4-0 for the first time since 2010.
In the first quarter, Quamon Davis scored on a 20-yard touchdown run, and Quinton Knight was good on the point after. Later in the first quarter, Davis scored on a 30-yard interception return.
Quonn Crump-Mayes also had a 49-yard run for a touchdown in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Mayes had a 54-yard touchdown run, and Mayes had 15-yard run for a touchdown.
Rossville got on the board after a 12-yard passing play in the third quarter, but Biggersville answered with a five-yard touchdown run.
The Lions continued their scoring onslaught in the fourth quarter with a 32-yard touchdown run from Knight.
Telick Barnett had a 63-yard run for a touchdown, and John Eaton also scored on a 22-yard run.
Ethan Eaton scored a two-point conversion on a running play.
The Lions play at home again next Friday versus Ashland in a division game.
