A 36-year-old Corinth man was sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections on Monday in Alcorn County Circuit Court for burglary of a dwelling.
Daniel Albert Rogers was actually given 25 years, but 22 years were suspended, leaving three years to serve. He pleaded guilty to the crime.
Rogers will be on post-release supervision for five years after his three-year sentence is complete.
He was also ordered to pay a fine, court costs, restitution and other fees.
The crime occurred around Dec. 25, 2016, the indictment charged.
Rogers was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge James L. Roberts Jr.
