Fried green tomatoes, gospel music, a 5K race and games for children were just a few of the fun activities that took place at the Blue Building in Kossuth on Saturday morning. Take a look at the photos below. The event raised money for F.U.E.L., a local organization that provides families with school supplies, food and clothes. F.U.E.L Director Anthia Follin-King said the fundraiser went very well and that people enjoyed food and fellowship. Next Saturday, July 22, F.U.E.L will host a free shopping event for families at the Blue Building starting at 7 a.m.
