Two Corinth Chargers youth football teams will compete in the Super Bowl on Nov. 19 at Itawamba Community College.
The 7- and 8-year-old team will play West Point and the 9- and 10-year-old team will play Shannon.
The Corinth Chargers travel football league has been around for three years and plays throughout Northeast Mississippi. About 60 children took part in the league this year.
Co-owner Red Clark said youth football teaches the children teamwork, sportsmanship and other life skills. The children play tackle football, and the league is for children ages 7-12.
Clark said he is really impressed with the teams making it to the Super Bowl this year, saying the players have improved and worked hard.
