Funeral services for Mary Katherine Crowe are set for 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Rienzi Baptist Church with Bro. Charlie Cooper and Bro. Ray Bennett officiating. Burial will be Forrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Crowe died on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth. She was born on April 14, 1928 to the late Zack and Goldie Voncannon Parker in Booneville, MS. She was a longtime member of Rienzi Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, quilting, and sewing, loved spending time with her friends at the Jacinto Senior Citizens Center, a member of the Lion’s Club and former owner of Crowe’s Grocery and Clothing in Rienzi.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in by one son, Tim Crowe; a daughter-in-law, Linda Crowe; a grandson, Kevin Crowe; and three brothers, Harold, James, and Charles Parker.
Survivors include her husband, James Billy Crowe; one daughter, Joyce Plunk and husband Gene; a son, Larry Crowe; three grandchildren, Michael Johnson and wife Mary Ann, Terry Plunk and Michelle and husband Eric all of Rienzi; five great-grandchildren, Casey Flatt, McCary Johnson, Micah Johnson, Madison Miles and Maddie Grace Miles; one brother, Bob Parker; a sister, Jean Brasher; several nieces, nephews, her church family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. till service time at the church.
