A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Ervie Massengill Olsen, 100, will be 11 am Monday February 8, 2016 at the Corinthian Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mount Vinson United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Joe Story officiating the service.
Mrs. Olsen was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on March 3, 1915 to Clyde and Etheny Melton Massengill. She worked as a machine operator for Mitchell Bentley Corporation, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Selmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Keith Olsen, her son; Randy Olsen, her parents, two brothers; Truman Massengill and Hulon Massengill.
She is survived by her sons; Dennie Olsen wife Sharon and Dale Olsen all of Selmer, Tennessee, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday evening 4pm till 6pm at the funeral home.

I just read about the passing of Aunt Ervie. My sympathies to Denny and Dale. Aunt Ervie was a beautiful Southern Lady and a joy to be around. Our family was blessed to have her be a part of the Michigan Olsens.
