Obituary for Hines Clifford Sexton

Mr. Hines Clifford Sexton, 86, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at his residence. Services for Mr. Sexton will be on Saturday, January 30, 2 PM, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, at Union Center. The family will receive guests beginning at 5 PM on Friday, January 29 and will continue until service time. Following the service interment will be in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
He was born on September 24, 1929, in Tippah County, Mississippi, to Reece and Ethel Sexton. He was a logger by trade.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Jewel Mathis Sexton, a sister, Peggy Russell and her husband, Joe Russell.
Those left to carry on his memory include a brother, Gene (Judy) Sexton of Columbus, Mississippi and Mr. Hines immediate family: Mickey and Susan Mathis, Nealy Mathis, Jon Ford Mathis, Sterling Price Mathis, Candice (Lonnie) Heavener, and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Marty Wilbanks, Frankie Jackson, Shaun Mullins, Jeff Bennett, Danny Mullins and Benji Mullins
Honorary Pallbearers are: Asa Wilson, Bobby Inman, Kenneth Inman, Kenneth Cissom, Dewayne Bennett, Wayne Moss, L. J. Buggs, Randy Waldon, Cecil Stroupe, Buster Montgomery, Terry Moss, and Jeff Moss.
Corinthian Funeral Home, Corinth, will be handling the arrangements.
